Christmas at the orphanage 🎄🎅💖

I am a Buddhist student. But this year December Christmas one of my friend decided doing a program in a orphanage children for Christmas. We had wanted they in happy that day😍😍. So that friend called me and asked to joined me also that campaign. I happily joined with them.

We could know there is a orphanage in "Golden Temple" in the Dambulla. So we went there and organized a program for that innocent children😀😝. They are 25 students in the orphanage. They are only boys and all are less than 18 years. We discussed with that children and know about lot of things about their life💓.  

lot of children have not their parents. some children have their parents but they have no money to protect them or they have many problems😟😞. Therefor the children in the orphanage. They are very innocent and they are very attractive boys💛💕. there was a little boy who is three years old. He can't eat and doing his works him self. Because he is small much.

We organized the program on 18th of December 2020. We went there early in the morning with cakes, chocolates, yoghurt, many short eats, books, pencils and lots of gifts for them😋😊😜😍. We gave that gifts for them in the morning. Near at 11 O'clock we sang songs with them👏👏😍. They were very happy with us a lot. They sang songs with us. They danced with us. we had so happy with them on that day💖💕.

Covid 19 Pandemic 😷😷

 Before 2019 there were not any dangerous virus or any dangerous pandemics. But in august 2019 came covid 19 virus to the world. It came to Sri Lanka in January 2020. It's birth country is China. It is most dangerous virus😨😥. A lot of peoples died because of the covid 19 virus and still dying. 

The World Health Organization has started the vaccination program against to the virus. They give many vaccines to the people now. Every countries give vaccines to the people free👪👫👍. We should get two doses of the vaccine💪. Then we can be careful of the virus. Some countries give three doses of vaccines to the people. Now Sri Lanka also has started give the third dose of the vaccine😎. Pfizer is the booster vaccine in our country. The Sri Lankan government gives to peoples many vaccines. They are,

• Moderna
• Sinopharm
• Pfizer
• Sputnic v
• Astrazeneca

Among them I got Sinopharm vaccine for the virus😇😇. We must get two or three doses of a vaccine. This is my vaccination card.

If we infect to that virus, we can see some symptoms. They are sneeze, cough and cold, fever, headache, vomitting etc. Then we can't breath easily😭😬😬. Therefore we must be careful.

If we want to be careful of the covid 19 virus we should use a face mask, shield, hand glows, sanitizer etc. Don't go crowd areas. We should wash our hands every time with soap or sanitizer. We shouldn't talk with anyone without a mask😷😷. If we go anywhere or if we touch anything we should wash our hands. Then we can be careful of the virus. 

If we want to go everywhere without a fear we should be careful. Then we can get again our safe country💦👪💓.

This year Vesak festival 🏮🎃

We celebrated Vesak this year month of May. Other years my mother, father, sister and I celebrated the Vesak festival very happily😍😍. That years we went look Thoran, Vesak lanterns etc. My father's work place arranges every year Vesak lanterns competition Every year we went their to look them. There were very beautiful and very big Vesak lanterns that day. We could see many beautiful Vesak lanterns at the Vesak day along every roads💓😎😎.

But this year we couldn't celebrate Vesak festival as last year😢😪. Because now there is a dangerous virus in the world which is Covid 19. We can't go to look Thoran, we can't go to Dansal etc. At least we can't go to temple too. In short we can't go to any crowd area. All Sri Lankan Buddhists were very sadly celebrated this year Vesak festival at house😌s. The government put lockdown whole the country because of the vesak festival. If they didn't do that people go everywhere for celebrate the festival. Then definitely increase the virus and fall victim to lot of people to the Covid 19 virus😳😲. 

So, all of those reasons we had to celebrate Vesak festival at our houses😇. Therefore we also celebrated the festival at our home. My sister and me made two Vesak lanterns. My mother also helped us to make them😝💓. She bought and gave us color papers for decorate the lanterns. We decorated those lanterns by two colors. They were Red and White💓♡. It seemed very nicely and very beautifully😍. 

That day my father came house near six o'clock. He helped us to put light bulbs to the lanterns and hanged them😇😎. These are the lanterns which we made.

If we hadn't the Covid 19 pandemic we will celebrate the Vesak festival nicely. We had very happy about our work😃. We couldn't go to temple, couldn't go to look Thoran and we couldn't arrange any Dansal. But we had very happy about that day😊😉. So I celebrated the day my mother, father, sister and my grand mother at home. That is a one of lovely and beautiful day in my life💓💓.

My vegetable garden 🥦🥒🍆🌽

There is Covid pandemic in Sri Lanka. That is very dangerous pandemic😢😲. The Sri Lankan government put lockdown towns and villages😒. Therefore we should stay in our home with our family members and we have to study at our home through the Zoom technology.

My mother, father, sister and I grew some vegetables in our home garden. We cleaned our garden and grew corn, beans, cabbage, brinjals, green chilies etc🥦🥒🍆🌽. 

We didn't use any chemicals for our garden. We used only  as Compost as organic fertilizer😜😜. About six months later we were able to eat those vegetables. I and my familiars very happy about our garden. It seems very beautifully. We can harvest a basket of vegetables from our garden once a week🧺🧺. These are some images of my vegetable garden💚.  

There are lot of big drumstick trees in our home. We sell drumsticks and get money two times per year. They grow well in our garden. My farther treat them once a week😊. He love them very much. These are some drumsticks in these days. There isn't lot of drumsticks these days because of the raining☔💧.

Next I grew corn in our garden before three weeks🌽🌽. Now they are little plants. It grew by my self, but mother helped me some times. When I haven't a lectures or every Saturdays and Sundays I go to our garden and treat my plants as a hobby😎🙈🙈. These days I am not water the plants because of the rain☔☔. Therefore plants seems in very pleasure. My mother, father, sister and my aunts also help me to treat my little plants😊😊. This is my Corn garden. 

I do this as a hobby and very happily. I can do this in my leisure times. I love gardening very much💕💕.

The first cake I made 🎂🥮😋😋

I didn't know make cakes😶😶. Last year my mother's birthday, but we can't go out because of the Covid pandemic. So my sister and I had to make a cake for my mother's birthday at home😇😎🙈. 

We watched many You tube channels about make cakes. There was a new oven in our house, but we never cook anything with it. We had a beater also😊😊. Therefore my sister and me decided to make a cake for the birthday. I had thousand rupees hand my sister had eight had eight hundred rupees💰🤑. We collect them and went to town by the bicycle and bought butter, flour, icing sugar, coloring, sugar and baking powder. 

We decided to make a butter cake and design it with yellow, green, red and pink color icing💛💚💓💗. 

The birthday is on 20th of April. We made the cake 18th of April. Finally we made the cake beautifully.😍 we wanted to surprise our mom. Therefore we made the cake in our aunt's house. Her house is in in front of our house. My sister and me went there with the oven, beater and other ingredients. She also helped us to made the cake. This is the cake which we made😇😎🙈.

After we made the cake there had some another butter, flour etc. Therefore we decided to make some cup cakes also😜😋. We decorated them with icing too. They were very very beautiful💕. These are the cup cakes which we made.

Finally we made both of cakes. They seemed very tasty and beautifully😛.  So the day has come. We surprised mom💑💑. Our aunty and uncle also came our house and we celebrated the day happily. My mom was very happy that day and she proud about my sister and me. We also very happy💖💖.

The best gifts I have ever received 💞😍😍😋

 I have got so many gifts by my mother, father, sister and my friends etc. I love that gifts very much. My favorite things they gave me as gifts😍😍. My most favorite things are Music instruments, teddy bears, books, dresses, wall creations, cakes, parties etc 💕💕. I received that gifts ,

• On my birthdays
• On my special events in my life. 

My most favorite gift is a guitar🎸🎸. It gave to me by my parents. That was the gift they gave me for the joy of passing campus. I was very happy about it😛. I have a violin, a flute and a esraj. I don't know play guitar But my favorite instrument is a guitar. My parents knew it well. I think because of it they gave me that guitar as a gift. I surprised that day a lot👻👻👻.

This is the gift.

My another favorite gift is a big teddy bear🧸🧸🧸🧸🧸. It  was given to me by my parents. That was the gift they gave me for the joy of passing Ordinary Level examination well. I love teddy bears a lot😎💓💓. I keep it on my bed every day every time. They gave me a fish bowl also me as a gift🐟🐠. I love it very much. When I have stress or in a problem I look them and I can calm down my mind. There are two fish in my fish bowl💙💙. I keep it on my study table.

I have a lot more gifts. But these are my favorite and best gifts in my life. All of these things thank you mom and dad. I love you very much💏💞💞💞.

My sewing creations 👒💢💕😍

 I most like to sew cloths. But I did not know anything about sewing cloths or weaving cloths😢. After Ordinary Level examination I didn't do anything. So learnt sewing clothes by my mom😍😍. She taught me about sewing from the beginning💘💘. I also learnt well. There is a sewing machine in our home. But it is not a electric one. I learnt sewing by this machine.  

First I learnt about wool cations. I most like it. My first creations are,

• A wool hat 👒👒
• A wool small cloth 💢💢

I sewed the wool hat by two colors. They are pink and white💗♡♡. My cousin has a little baby. I gave it as a gift to my cousin's baby👶👼. Before I give it I took a photograph of it. Because it is my first wool creation in my life. From beginning I thought wool weaving is very difficult work😨😬😬. But now I know it is very easy to do. It is very enjoyable activity and we can do it as a leisure time activity or as a hobby💕💕. 

Next I weaved a small wool cloth. That is my second wool creation😍😍😋. I sewed it by four colors. They are red, white, yellow, orange 🧡💛💭💝. My grand mother most like to bring it to the temple. 

These are my first and wool creations😜.

Next I sewed small four table mats for our dining table. I sewed it by the sewing machine. I used a cotton cloth for it😍😋. I cut circle shapes and sewed it. After I sewed its outline by a red color cloth. Finally I decorated it by small wool weaving. I weaved small flowers for decorate it🥀🥀🥀.
